Stating the Obviouz started in Spring 2007. All the founding members knew each other from former bands or just from the local scene. After a big deal of experimenting with the style to play and as wel as the members to play it, all the pieces fell in place at the end of 2007. The line-up since then is:

The music Stating the Obviouz plays is hard to describe. So listen to it and decide for yourself. Since the end of 2007 we did allot of homerecordings and finally in april 2008 we did a professional recording at Excess Studios. We recorded 2 songs, Straight Trough and Ignoring the Truth. In may we will release a promo containing those 2 songs as well as an acoustic version of Touching the Surface. This will be used to get on stage as soon as possible. We are ready to pull off a energetic live show and it's time to spread our music. Watch your local venue after the summer, because Stating the Obviouz is coming out to play!
